mr. k is working late tonight. it gives me an excuse to fold those 2 loads of laundry but it sure is lonely at our little apartment without that big boisterous man of mine.
since coming home from our honeymoon we have fallen into a routine. without him the routine doesn't quite flow. i don't even mind admitting we're that typical "boring" married couple. after working all day i can't wait to come home to him, and that usually involves nothing much once we're home. yesterday our big adventure was going to costco and making pasta.
everyone asks us, "how's married life??"
married life is good. it's comfortable. it's easy building a life with your best friend. we have had our moments and i'm still learning to sleep through his snoring, but on the whole i'd recommend it to anyone. my favorite part about marriage is when we turn off the lights and just talk in the dark. i can tell that man anything. he sings me silly songs and will usually let me be the little spoon.
so, in answer to those questions-- married life is lovely.
sincerely,
mrs. k
